I am open to working with you whatever you are facing. I have worked with clients around issues such as trauma, abuse, depression, addiction, low self worth, anxiety, chronic illness, domestic violence, abandonment, BPD, suicidal and/or intrusive thoughts ....

and also with people who just want to offload,  achieve more, understand themselves better, or be more content.

I also offer low-cost support (currently fully booked) and have a few spaces left at my reduced rate of £40 for those in need. Please feel free to ask me.

Each session lasts 50 minutes.  Payment is required in advance.  I usually recommend weekly work with new clients.

Online - anywhere.

Inside - in London, in lovely counselling rooms in Forest Hill.

can I just have coaching?

Of course.  If you want to focus on the future, perhaps your life ambitions, or current work issues,  we can work in a goal focussed way.  As an integrative specialist, I tailor my work to suit you .

therapy or counselling?! existential or psychodynamic ?!?

Don't worry!  The most important thing in any counselling or therapeutic journey is the connection - not the labels or theories (although I am adept at a fair few). Contact a few people you like the look of, trust your instinct - and find someone who helps you feel safe to open up and explore. Good luck.

how long for?

How long is a piece of string?   How long will depend on what you want to achieve.  A fear of getting on public transport might be just a few sessions (of CBT), but addressing an underlying fear of strangers plus low self-worth arising from damaging childhood experiences will take much longer - many months, or perhaps even years of careful, caring work together.

We will review together - what the key goals are, when it is time to stop, restart, or phase our work differently.

I suggest you commit to at least one month of work with any new therapist to see how things develop.

more about 'face to face' work

work in calm therapy spaces in the Quaker Meeting House on Sunderland Road in Forest Hill (SE23 2QA).

Access is step free, and I will be pleased to help accommodate any other practical barriers (eg childcare - babies are welcome, sensory - lighting levels are adjustable etc etc).

Walk and Talk therapy is held in a place of our mutual convenience - usually early morning weekdays, or fortnightly at the weekends.

what difference will therapy make?

In the therapy/coaching space, you will get a chance to really understand yourself and start to heal any wounds you are carrying.

You can stand back from your problems or hopes and come to see new ways of coping and being.

You can gain greater self-compassion, awareness and courage.
